Its been a while since my last post and a quiet summer here at Scarf Addict HQ …but we are back with some gorgeous new stock .Our Paloma scarves have got a lot of interest and its no wonder. They make the perfect autumn accessory with the fabulous colours and brush stroke details. I think I will have to save one of these beauties for myself
We have some gorgeous new spring stock that is proving very popular. Our new additions are Shawna Sheep , Pretty Pandas and some happy Bumble Bees all on lovely pastel backgrounds. We have sold out of the blue Shawna Sheep(see what I did there ?) already . Spring is in the air folks and theres a definite whiff of Easter with our floral prints , sheep and bees selling well. We just need a bit of sunshine and we will be well on our way. Fingers crossed we get to see something of the eclipse tomorrow and we not covered in cloud as we are most of the time. Weekends nearly here guys- so lets all have a good one !
Well, our cute heart scarf Pippa sold out almost as soon as she hit the shelves and its no wonder as shes such a beauty. Ive ordered some more and also got some in pink on the way . Seems everyone loves hearts !
Its Friday and so to celebrate Im having another giveaway on our facebook page www.facebook.com/scarfaddict . The tangerine scarf with blue daisy print is a vibrant scarf and sure to brighten up the dullest day .
Mothers Day is fast approaching and theres something for mums of all ages on our site. That’s why I love scarves so much- theres one for everyone and you can never have too many .
Weve got the heating on full tonight at Scarf Addict HQ but our new arrivals have cheered me up. The Esther scarves are simply stunning and would make beautiful gifts for Mothers Day – and in three colourways so will suit everyone. Im really pleased with the collection at the moment and Suzie and Poppies in Red are the best sellers at present. The giveaway last week proved so popular Im thinking of having another -watch this space !
I must say Im loving the new and improved Scarf Addict website. Thanks to Chris Doyle at Hub Projects Ltd who has worked hard to get this site exactly as I wanted. Best of all its much easier for customers to browse the products and now they purchase using Paypal or cards.
Its been a busy old weekwith the children and me going back to school. The weathers getting colder and the nights starting to draw in so its been the perfect time to start sourcing some snug winter woolies
Its almost enough to want the cold weather to start I love the chunky snoods – they keep your neck lovely and warm as well as looking amazing. These have a real retro feel to them .
Ive also got a new category on the site- especially for the men in our lives and Ive enjoyed looking through some potential new stock today and tartan seems to be on trend with the guys .
The buy one geton one half price sale is going really well and means there is some room for all the gorgeous autumn /winter new stock on its way .
Another busy day trying to juggle being a mum ,working at my day job and then trying to sell scarves and promote myself through social media in the evening . All this as mr scarf addict is mountain biking in the Alps and thoroughly enjoying himself.
I have been looking new stock today – seems a shame to be thinking about autumn when we’ve hardly had our summer yet but the colours predicted for autumn /winter are just gorgeous . Its almost enough o make us look forward to those dark nights
So today has been mainly about social media .Had a nice surprise today when we reached 2500 likes on our FB page www.facebook.com/scarfaddict. I still get a buzz when we get a new like . Ive also been twittering like crazy today trying to get to grips with t’Twitter. Still not 100% sure what Im doing with that one . That little blue bird is beginning to get on my nerves ! But the young ones tell me its the future so I must persevere.
Almost ready to launch the new site – I cant wait !! It will be fantastic to have all the scarves displayed and the new site is so quick and easy to use. Thanks so much to Chris at hubprojects. Hes built me a website that not only looks great but is easy for my customers to use and easy for me to manage…and that’s no mean feat . !! So refreshing to get advice from someone who is so friendly and doesn’t talk in IT jargon . Cant thank him enough .
So even thought the sun is shining – Im loving the blues today . Nautical themes are huge right now and the Padstow and Salcombe scarves fit the bill beautifully . They are super soft and lightweight and you can wear them aboard the yacht or at the pub – your choice -but either way you wont be disappointed.
